One day soon (probably very soon) I will tire of the alliterations in my posting titles. Actually, I am running out of adjectives that are appropriate for each day of the week. I’ll have to be more creative! I get my love of puns, limericks, and alliterations first from my dad, and secondly from reading Dr. Seuss to my kids. Who can forget the Tweedle Beetle Battle in a Bottle? It used to drive me mad because it was the kids’ favorite (and, secretly, mine too!) but I’d never admit it to them. All I have of those days are memories, such wonderful memories! If you have little ones and read them Dr. Seuss, take time to enjoy it!
I am still working on my purple sweater …finally found the rest of my purple yarn. Don’t you just hate it when you put half of something in one box and the rest of it in a different box??? Locating the yarn today has absolutely made my day! (grateful grin!) I was getting worried that I’d have about three quarters of the back completed and not be able to find the rest of the yarn! And then not be able to use the beautiful buttons I came across while I was looking for the yarn!
Am I the only one who seems to be finding everything a challenge these days?
Today I have homework I’d better get to next. I’ll knit tonight when I’m watching a movie. (I’m addicted to NetFlix, and currently on an Army Wives marathon …only 2 more seasons to go!)
I’ll report on homework, knitting, and what the Army wives are up to, the next time I post.
Wishing you all a happy and blessed day,
